Upgrade with Occupancy & Window/Door Sensors
Smarter Controls Respond to the Room
A heating schedule responds to the clock. Optional occupancy and window/door sensors let a compatible King heater respond to conditions in the space. Paired with the ECO PRO Controller, they automatically switch the heater to a selected setback temperature when a room is unused or a window or door is left open.
Two Sensors. Automatic Temperature Setbacks.
Occupancy Sensor
Responds to Inactivity
Occupancy Sensor
Responds to Inactivity
When the PIR sensor detects no activity for the selected 10-, 30- or 60-minute delay, the heater switches to its configured unoccupied setback temperature. Choices are 45°F, 55°F, 60°F or 65°F. When activity is detected again, the heater resumes its previous temperature setting.
If a window or door remains open for more than three minutes, the heater switches to its configured setback temperature. Choices are 40°F, 45°F, 50°F or 55°F. After the window or door has been closed for three minutes, the heater resumes its previous setting.
Setback Temperatures Matched to the Application
Each sensor has its own setback choices. Select the settings based on how the space is used and its heating requirements.
Cuts Energy Waste
By setting back heat when rooms are empty or windows/doors are open.
Improves Comfort
By automatically restoring heat when occupancy is detected.
Lowers Costs & Wear
Automatic setbacks reduce unnecessary run time.
